A soulful voice, a powerful melodramatic lyrics. Who would not be hooked by Bruno Mars' single “Grenade.”

Bruno Mars is one of the artists whose career soared from being behind the scene to stardom. A true talented musician, he can do very well in Pop, Reggae, R&B, Soul, and even Hip Hop, not to mention his magnificent flair in songwriting.

Mars seemed to be really born with romantic inclination. His debut single “Just the Way You Are” became a great hit to follow a worldwide recognition of his name in the music industry. His songs are truly piercing, indulging every girl who hears him.

Unlike “Just the Way You Are” which is basically a song to cherish a girl the way she is, “Grenade” has more depth and focuses on the feeling of despair because of a lost love. The message of the song is very clear, he is willing to die for a lover who would not do the same.

The music video wherein Mars is pulling a piano ever his back to go his his lover's home is also an effective picture of showing the emotions the singer feel. He does not care how heavy and hard it is to walk over the streets where the people whom he passes by looks at him in wonder.

If you are a romantic girl who happens to watch the video, the feeling is simply painful. If every man loves like the way he portrays his character in “Grenade,” there would be no woman to consider herself unlucky.

Charice, the Filipina international singing sensation again proved the power of her vocals in her newest single 'Far as the Sky'.

The song became an inspirational theme for the Japanese mystery/crime drama “Bull Doctor,” which according to the reports, Charice was personally chosen by Kayuza Toda, the drama producer himself.

'Bull Doctor' stars two famous Japanese actresses Esumi Makiko and Satomi Ishihara who will be playing as a forensic doctor and a police detective . Makiko who will be playing as the Bull Doctor is a mother to one child who is very persistent in solving crimes to the extent of always being in conflict with Ishihara who plays as the detective. The TV Show was released last 6th of July and runs in Japan every Wednesday, 10:00 in the evening on Nihon TV Network.

Eventhough the song was sung in English, Toda strongly believes that Charice's voice can justify the emotion necessary for the television drama. He was once awed by her powerful voice, so there will be no doubt that she will be able to reach the expectations of the Japanese viewers.

Charice's popularity in Japan have contributed to the soaring excitement for the television show. One of her latest single “Louder” was also used as a theme song in Mezmashi TV, a Japanese morning show.

The 19-year old star dedicates the 'Far as the Sky' to the Japanese people who were victims of the recent environmental disaster last March of 2011 that took more than 20,000 lives in Japan.
